Make an Appointment
You can call Aspire Counseling on (301) 978-9750 to schedule an appointment. When you call, ask to speak with the Intake Coordinator, Daniel Marin. Daniel will conduct an over the phone intake questionnaire to assess your needs. He will discuss your availability and identify which therapist best matches your needs and insurance status.
Please note: Clients sometimes email Aspire Counseling using networks including but not limited to Gmail, Comcast, Verizon, or Hotmail. Email sent through these “open access” networks is often not encrypted to protect privacy. When email is not encrypted, it is possible that someone else may access and read it. Aspire Counseling’s policy is to reply to clients’ emails sent from open access networks unless a client explicitly says not to do so.
New Client Forms for download will be added here very soon
Call Aspire Counseling
Aspire Counseling has a psychiatrist and nurse practitioner who are both able to prescribe medications. In order to see the psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, potential clients have to be in weekly counseling with one of our therapists.
We do collaborate with other psychiatrists and primary care providers who prescribe medication for our clients.
We accept many insurance carriers including Medicaid, Medicare and Tricare. Insurance depends upon the individual therapist. Aspire has alternative payment options for office appointments if you do not have insurance.
We will also help you receive reimbursement if our therapists are not on your insurance company’s panel and allows you to obtain out-of-network coverage. For more information about our specialized programs for the uninsured and under-insured visit Community Programs.
Employee Assistance Programs
We accept a vast majority of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). The EAPs are offered by companies to aid employees who are having mental health issues at no cost to the individual.
We do offer a self-pay rate. Please call (301) 978-9750 to inquire.
